1.  Minimum Order:  We do not require a minimum order and charge no extra handling fees. Shipping charges will be added to each order as well as insurance as necessary.  Insurance is optional up to $50.00 in purchases on one order.  If you choose not to include insurance with your shipment, we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.  Orders of $50.00 or more require insurance and this will be calculated and added to your order. 
 
2.  Ordering:  We make every effort to respond to your order within 24 hours of receipt.  If we will be unavailable to do so, that will be posted on the home page of our website.  Please refer to this page before placing your order for any special notes we have posted.  We are not responsible for orders placed while we are unavailable and a notice has been placed on the home page indicating our availability.  Such orders will be responded to when we once again become available.  Checks and money orders accepted but orders being paid via that method must be emailed to us so we can provide you with an address to send the payment and to give you a total on shipping (insurance included if necessary).  Orders paid in that manner will only be fulfilled once the check or money order clears our financial establishment.  If you pay by check and the check is returned you will be assessed a 25.00 fee plus any bank fees.  If your check is returned for insufficent funds, we will contact you once to attempt to get an idea of when to redeposit.  If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of contact, we will automatically redeposit the check 2 business days from original contact (that includes Saturday).    Be sure to indicate any special arrangements or requests when you place your order.  We will contact you if we cannot meet any special requests or if there will be any additional cost associated with you order.
 
3.  Busy Season:  During peak times (around holidays), it may take longer to process and ship, sometimes anywhere from 1 to 4 business days. 
 
4.  Terms:  All orders must be prepaid prior to shipment.  We do not offer credit terms.
 
5.  Availability/Stock/Backorders:  We make every attempt to keep all of our products in stock (this applies to materials since we make your order upon receipt), but we cannot guarantee their availability.  Please be sure to check the scents page for limited-availability scents.  If we feel we cannot process your order as placed we will contact you for further instruction.  If we cannot contact you by the time we have your order ready to ship, your order will be shipped without those items and you will need to re-order them at a later date.  We will be happy to add you to a waiting list and notify you when the items become available.  We cannot be responsible for any situation that may arise due to an item being out of stock.  Any special order items must be prepaid and cannot be cancelled.  Please allow ample time for special orders to arrive.
 
6.  Delivery:  Your shipping will be calculated at time of order if you order through our shopping cart.  Please remember that if you choose not to insure your package, we are not responsible for any situation that may occur upon shipping.  Please do not miss your delivery.  If your carrier is unable to deliver your package for any circumstance other than our error, you will be responsible for the re-shipping of your package.  Any shipments returned to us due to customer refusing delivery will be billed for all shipping charges as well as a 25% restocking fee.
 
7.  Damaged Shipments:  If your package does not arrive in acceptable condition, DO NOT ACCEPT it from the carrier.  Contact your carrier directly IMMEDIATELY if there is any damage or breakage of any kind.  All shipments are sent in good condition.  Our responsibility ceases upon delivery of our goods to your carrier.  You must get a claim number from the carrier.
 
8.  Merchandise Returns:  Returns are only within 10 days of receipt.  Returns must be approved, please fax or email us to receive an RMA#.  See the home page for contact info or send an email through our Contact Us page.  If we receive merchandise back without having given approval you will not receive any refund and will be charged for any excess costs incurred by us.  Unless the issue was our error, a restocking fee of 25% will apply to all returns.  All returns must include a completed return form (given when RMA# is requested) which must be filled out with the original purchase information and the reason for return.  Merchandise must be received in proper packaging and in good condition to be accepted.  If items are not received in resaleable condition they may not be accepted even with an RMA#.  Unless due to our error, customer is responsible for shipping on all returns.  In-store credit only no cash refunds will be given unless it is deemed that the shipment was our error.  You will be notified when we receive your return with instructions on how to use your credit for a new purchase.
 
9.  Specials/Sales:  All special/sales items are only available on a first come first serve basis.  If an item is listed with limited availability or closeout or sale, then your order will be fulled to the best of our ability.  If we run out of an item, we will contact you for further instruction.  If we cannot contact you by the time we have your order ready to ship, your order will be shipped without those items and you will need to re-order them at a later date.  We will be happy to add you to a waiting list and notify you when the items become available.  We cannot be responsible for any situation that may arise due to an item being out of stock.  If you place an order and we know we will be unable to fill it, we will contact you for instruction and the forementioned will apply.  We make every effort to accomodate our customers so please be sure to pay attention to what we have in limited stock at the time of your order.
 
10.  Satisfaction Guarantee:  We truly believe you will be fully satisfied with your order.  We never anticipate any problems.  We vow to do our best to accomodate you in every way we can.  If your are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for in store credit towards your next order (see #8 Merchandise Returns above).
 
11.  Warranties:  Swell Smells makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the suitability of any certain product for use in secondary products or the actual results of its use in any such products.  Swell Smells expressly disclaims any and all liability resulting from the use of any of these products.  Read all labels as Swell Smells is not liable for any outcome of use of any product sold by said entity.
